Short answer: not enough for it to matter. Yiwu-hua isn’t a phrasebook away from useful, it’s a full dialect with its own tones, vocabulary, and grammar, spoken fluently only by people who grew up in the region. A foreign buyer memorizing a dozen phrases doesn’t get treated as a local; if anything, it can read as trying too hard, which suppliers notice just as quickly as they notice genuine fluency.
